Time and time again, people look for the solution to defy the effects of time on their bodies and faces. The sad reality though, is that we can never really turn back time nor can we make it stand still. One thing we can do however is to roll with the changing times and do something to control the changes on our bodies as much as we can.

Have a Proper Mindset
Being young and staying young are two different worlds apart. While we are young just once, we can set our minds into thinking to be young longer. Whining about getting old will do more harm than good since you will just add up pressure upon yourself.
Setting long term goals about how to take care of your body is much more beneficial than taking a crash course on dieting just because there is a party going on in a week and you need to look good. Although the latter solution could work for some, once the party is over there is no more goal to look forward to next, hence all the pounds will start coming back again.
Watch of What you Eat
Eating will always be a pleasure. Strict dieting is taking away the pleasure of eating. If you try to starve yourself intentionally just to shed off extra pounds in order to look younger, chances are you will fail miserably.
The only way to program your body to melt away fats is to make sure you eat 4-5 times a day assuring your stomach that it will have enough food for the day so as not to make it shift into starvation mode and save up all the calories instead of burning it for energy. These meals however need to be healthy and not just random quick munch that could be dangerous to your health.
Walk whenever you can
Brisk walking increases your stamina, burns calories and gives your body a total workout at the same time. Every time you need to get something nearby, walk instead of taking the car. Park on the farthest spot on your office car park (just make sure you’re not yet late other wise you’ll be in trouble) when going to work, it will help zest your energy up for the rest of the day.
Use Cosmetics Lightly
Use cosmetics scantily to save your skin. Although these face colors will make you look younger at the moment, its long term effect could be detrimental to the overall appearance of your face. Use those that are made from natural ingredients as much as possible, and make sure to wash it off before bedtime.
Flossing Daily Could Save Your Heart
You heard me right. Flossing can save not only your teeth, but your heart as well. Studies show that the bacteria that inhabit the teeth are the same kinds of bacteria that cause the arteries to clog. Make sure you floss daily, dental flosses are more than just a display on your dental kits, they could be your life saver!
Sleep all you can
Sometimes the best way to stay young is to do nothing. While we succumb to sleep and leave all the other worries behind, our body gets the chance to eliminate dead skin cells and produce new ones as well as our body repairs all that is damages during the activities we do during the day.
Give your body the chance to heal naturally and never deprive yourself of sleep. Sleep while you when you can. And wake up feeling young and energized in the morning.
Vices Out
Cigarettes, drugs, excessive alcohol and other vices have long been associated with early deaths and shortened life-span. Guess what? It hasn’t change still and it will never be. So stay away from these vices if you want to stay healthy and feel young. Not unless you want to exit earth young (no pun intended).
Dwell in a fun and loving environment
Live and circle yourself with people who love you and whom you love as well. A loving environment away from stress and major problems will keep the dreaded age line away from your face. Laughing keeps you light-hearted so have as much fun as you can. Laugh until you start crying. The best things in life are truly free.
Accept Failures
Learn to accept the fact that Failures are bound to happen in your life one way or another. Look at them as lessons learned and not as hindrances on your life. Remember, it is not how many times you fail, but its all about how you stand up each time.
Stop Worrying!
Stop worrying too much on how you look, it will only make things worse. Worrying leads to stress, and stress leads to all unwanted things to show on your face! Do not try to stop ageing, everybody will get old eventually.
